Research
Since 2005, I've been working in the field of natural language processing at the Department of Informatics of the University of Lisbon, in the Natural Language and Speech Group.
I implemented a verb conjugation tool, LX-Conjugator.
I have also been developing a computational grammar for Portuguese, LXGram.
Recently I worked on extracting temporal information from text. That is the topic of my Ph.D. work, which I finished in May 2013. There is a Web demo of LX-TimeAnalyzer, a temporal extraction system I developed in this context.
